Sandra is a Partner of Barker Son & Isherwood. She has specialised in Family Law since she qualified in 1984 and now has over 35 years of experience in this complex area of law.

In addition to being a qualified solicitor, she is also trained as a family mediator. She can help clients in the Andover area work towards a less combative approach to divorce.

Sandra has been involved with local Women's Refuge Charities for a number of years. She is so passionate about the valuable work these local charities provide, that in the past she has been involved with their respective management committees.

These charities deal with all aspects of domestic violence, offering counselling services, safeguarding children and re-housing when required.

Her work at the Firm offers many challenges on which she thrives and allows her to help vulnerable women and children who need support.

Sandra worked in her early years started as a legal secretary for another law firm and was asked her advice on a particular legal issue. When she gave her opinion, she was told she was wrong and that if she thought she knew better than a qualified solicitor, she had better qualify herself. She has not looked back since.
