Karen Powell

Karen joined the Private Client Department in July 2024, bringing with her almost 10 years of specialist Private Client experience and over 11 years in the legal profession.

Early in her career, Karen worked alongside a Partner who practised across a range of legal areas, giving her a broad foundation of legal knowledge before specialising in Private Client work. Karen has a particular interest in Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney and enjoys helping clients plan for the future with confidence.

Understanding that preparing a Will or Lasting Power of Attorney can feel daunting, Karen takes a friendly, caring and patient approach, providing clear guidance and support throughout the process.

Outside of work, Karen enjoys many outdoor activities in particular paddle boarding and kayaking, as well as spending an afternoon walking by the sea with her husband and dog.

She also enjoys football and is an avid fan of motorcycle and F1 racing.
